S. Gerber & Associates is a private consulting company comprised of a team of professional long-term care managers specializing in long-term health care management and planning.
Care management includes the assessment of an individual's long-term care needs, creation of a plan to satisfy those needs, locating and selecting care providers or other professional resources that can implement the plan, advocating and communicating these needs to caregivers and family, and continually monitoring the individual's response to the care being provided.
Care managers are professionals who have the expertise in consulting with family members and individuals who currently have long-term care needs or who may have these needs in the future.
S. Gerber & Associates is a member of the National Association of Professional Care Managers (GCM)
, a not for profit association of professional practitioners whose purpose is the development, advancement, and promotion of the physical health and mental well-being of the elderly and their families through counseling, treatment, and the delivery of services by qualified and certified providers.
S. Gerber & Associates is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)
, a society dedicated to educating professionals who are committed to providing services to seniors and such grant a designation of CSA.
S. Gerber & Associates is a member of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance (AALTCI)
